What is mediation?
Mediation is a process which can help those in dispute to resolve their issues, determine their own outcomes, in confidence through skilled and neutral professional guidance.
Four principles of mediation:
Voluntary – both parties of a dispute participate in mediation at their own free will
Confidential- mediator will not release any information about the mediation process to third party.
Impartial – mediator does not take sides, mediator’s role is to assist parties to reach mutually agreeable outcome
Self-Determining -parties with the assistance of mediator work to achieve the best solutions for them.
For those in dispute – Mediation is a great option!
